These are shots from a series of clay tips around cornwall. The industrial sites were abandoned and have been quarantined with mad dog diseases, so we went inside to explore. Driven in a beat up BMW by a lunatic down narrow roads in cornwall we are lucky to reach our final destination. We wandered through rooms of heavy machinery, walkways, passages and conveyor belts covered in thick layers of chalk and dust. Old control rooms with cathode ray monitors, log books and broken windows. We collect all the bulbs from one of the rooms in the plant and watch them disintegrate as we drop them onto the concrete far below. We follow their paths to the bottom floor down a series of ladders and find ourselves at the edge of a slime filled waterway. I notice an office chair through a cloudy window and head into a room of electronic towers set out in rows, inside we discovered an array of fire extinguishers. they soon became weapons. there seems to be an unlimited amount of ammunition because even after an hours solid of carbon dioxide dueling there are still too many left to take with us. On the way home the office chair becomes the ideal solution to transporting our loot and we load it up with several and carry the rest as we lumber to the site exit and the location of the car. We catch a glimpse of a security car and jump behind a giant cylinder. We go ahead to explore and find it parked next to our get away vehicle. No escape, so we scout a way out of the site leaving the fire extinguishers near the gate but hidden out of sight. We blag our way out of a fine from the security... and return that evening moonlight, fueled with champagne we haul the twelve hydrants back to our den.
